Founding CEOs, though they rarely do that much of the actual grunt work, are the ones with the vision and whatever it takes to get investors and competent help to achieve the vision. Much as the Musk haters love to put him down, he's accomplished more than probably any individual human who's ever lived. Don't get me wrong: I'm not a Musk fanboy. There's plenty he does I'm not on board with.
