  1. WOW! Some great models! Thanks Romell. Nice way to kill a lunch hour.
  2. It's been a few weeks since I've checked the progress on this and I'm glad a waited. It looks as if you are almost at the end and it is stunning. To say the least. I was curious as to how you would work out the graphics and the help that you received on them is "top-notch". It's nice to see the camaraderie, and the willingness of others to lend a hand to what will be a truely great build when completed. Beautiful work John and to those that helped out.
  3. Great looking truck! A definate throw-back to the 60's show theme. Very creative using the the T-Bird rear end.
  4. Mannie! I've seen this car.....Really! I think that it was on some old 8mm film they showed us when I learned how to drive. So now I know what happened to it. I can sleep now. As usual....Great job!
  5. Hey Ron...NICE! Where'd ya get the motor? The throttle linkage looks great.
  6. This is "VERY COOL" Guy. Nice idea, flipping the headers, and the salt - rust technique came out looking great. I'll have to give that a try one of these days.
  7. Nice lookin' Malibu, Keith. I got started on building a replica of a friends '64 yesterday. Picked up a '64 promo that was in pretty good shape for the starting point. Bought a '65 El Camino for the frame, and picked up a '69 Nova SS for the small block 350 and rally wheels. Ordered all new chrome, hood and glass from Modelhaus. So now the fun begins. Here's hoping that it turns out as nice as yours.
  8. Nice build Alyn.
  9. Now this.......is "Ratty" .....Ron! Hey! That's kinda of catchy! Great build for a one day parts box!
  10. Are you kidding? The finish on this is amazing! After pouring through this "Topic", I couldn't resist throwing a few photo's of my '32 into the mix. I hope it holds up to some of the builds in the previous pages. 'Cause they're amazing! The "Rat Rod" genre is definately alive and well amongst the model builders! Some Great "Rats" Guys!
  11. Nice! Car goes together well and the choice of color sets it off.
  12. Manny! What a piece of junk! You have a real knack for capturing "Mother Nature" and her revenge on the automotive industry. Ever seen the book "Roadside Relics"? I have, and I think I've seen a couple of your builds within the pages! Great work!

VERY COOL "BUG"! And "NOS" no less!
  14. Pretty nice build Ray! I like the chrome "steelies"! There a nice choice.
  15. This is one cool car! Looks like a "barn find" with some great patina. Nice job!
  16. Awesome looking Hudson! Your efforts on converting it to a four door paid off. The color combination is great and your foil work is flawless. Thanks for some great inspiration!
  17. Great looking "Bug"! Looks real! Nice job.
  18. Wow! Very nice Bob! Can't wait until tomorrow!
  19. Great looking Cougar! Very nice detail work on the engine!
  20. Gorgeous car Tulio! Absolutely beautiful!
  21. Andy, I wouldn't touch this, not even dust it off. Put it in a display case and note on the bottom the history of the model. Pass it on and keep the memory of your Dad and Grandfather going forward. So much of family history gets lost after a couple of generations that sometimes something like this, along with a couple of photos, will mean a lot to a great-great grandson or grandaughter. Your Dad did a nice job on it as well.
  22. Yeah! This is the one that I wanted to see! Nice work on the engine bay and motor. The choice of wheels and tires give this 442 a great "Pro Touring" look. Nice work Shane. I copied a couple of your photos and lightened them up to see a bit more of the interior. Great job on the wood grain effect. Looks great on the dash. Shane, are the colors, met-blue upper and met-green lower?
  23. Very nice Hot Rod Jon! Love the engine and the opened doors!
  24. Looks like something that your aunt Carol would drive down to the local "Piggly Wiggly" for a loaf of bread! Very nice stock build with a snappy 350.
  25. Looks like it just drove off of the lot. I like the chrome trim on the hood. That's a nice touch. Nice, clean, and uncluttered build.
