Thank you Terry! it was a lot of test fitting,filing/sanding,to end up like this! worst thing I encountered was the cab to frame fit, gave me a lot of problems! But overall I'm very happy with how it came out!................................Mark -

GMC Pickup
Mackvision replied to Mackvision's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Thanks guys for the kind words! been a long up-hill battle with this one! Its is NOT an original AMT Sierra, but an AMT 72 Chevy modified into the GMC. I converted the interior tub to a bench seat, changed the tailgate and removed some of the trim. The hood and side enblems are actually from a scrap GMC Astro kit. The hubcaps are kit stock, but the tires are from the AMT Firestone Ford kit (the real truck was 2WD) but had the larger tires on it. I scratched the rear bumper and added scale diamond plate. I think the most time consuming thing has been the BMF! theres a TON on this truck!...........Thanks for the compliments and comments, more to follow!.......................Mark -

I've been collecting trucking memorabilia for years! mostly Mack stuff (of course) most is hanging up in my model room. I try and find something I don't have everytime I'm out and about! I have probably 1000's of brochures, die cast of all types, hats t-shirts etc..I guess it comes with the territory?.....................................................Mark
