That's very nice work Angelo! I want a set of those decals as well,i was wondering if they were nice, looks like they are!. is the gold on top of the hood a decal too?............................................Mark -
Dennis, the re-released DM-600 kit represents a pre 1972 cab,so the factory interior (with few exceptions) would be a mint/light green color (Krylon "Sea Glass" is a close match) Late in 1972 into 73 the steeldash was changed to the more modern style "plus 3" cab, most of which were tan inside.................here is a picture of a model with the Krylon color I mentioned (not my build, found on the internet)..........................................Mark

Not a "KW Man" by any means, but that A-Model is SHARP! as a young driver,i had the opportunity to drive an A-Model early on in my career, 3408 Cat,14 speed spicer trans.,right around 750 horse to the drives, only big truck I ever drove with a 120 MPH speedometer in it!.....................................Mark

Mack info needed!
Mackvision replied to guitarsam326's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Sam,are you looking at that B-73 in Hunter? NC,the one on Craigslist? I saw that myself, The B-73 denotes a factory Cummins engine, sister Macks B-75,B-77 etc. are Mack powered with a few exceptions. It is quite poss. the truck came with a Mack "Uni-Shift" trans. (single stick 10 or 15 speed) if you can get a picture of the door tag,or better yet the VIN# I would be better able to tell you how the truck was built. If you DO end up with it,i can put you in touch with the Mack Museum, who can provide you with the factory build sheet, specs, original ownwer etc............................................Mark -

It bothers me the recent "trend" of ebay sellers breaking up a kit by the sprue/tree ie; cab, engine, interior etc listing them separately and asking RIDICULOUS prices for them! saw an AMT 72 Chevy pickup cab/body listed for $75.00 buy it now!..............................Mark

Mack DM600 Interior Green?
Mackvision replied to howsthat1959's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Mack interiors were available in both green and tan or any custom color from the factory, the interior in the DM-600 currently out should be green, best match I've found so far is Krylon :Sea Foam".........................................Mark -
It saddens me to see what trucking has become,i am a 3rd generation driver with 3.5 million miles safe driving,so please don't tell me "it can't be done"! Todays drivers have lost respect for both equipment, weather AND common sense!!!!!! I agree the radio might have helped, but some of those trucks were doing 60 when they approached the STOPPED traffic!!!!................................................Mark
