1975 and 6 Plymouth Roadrunners.
-
I'm working on those bumper sets right now, as a matter of fact I'm making preliminary molds tonight. They will be available in both street and NASCAR versions. The MPC Petty Roadrunner was a 1971, but had the 1972 rear bumper. My issue is not converting a bumper for the Revell kit, but the tail lights themselves. Those are going to be a doozy-to-do! Keep in touch with me John. With so many projects going at once I can use the occaisional reminder to get on the stick!

How to get multiple sheens on body?
MAGNUM4342 replied to arisley28's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
GOOD question! I've never done this, but it seems to me the first inclination would be to do the gloss, then go to satin and flat. But then this raises the question of how they were layered on the car. I did once try to make a car look like it had been in a wreck by dragging some silver paint across the finished car so it looked like paint scraped off. Of course it was easy to spot that the silver was on top and the effect was blown. Maybe you should go into a deeper description of what you're going for. -

"...If you want me to (#2) in a box and mark it guaranteed I will, I got spare time." - Tommy Boy (I hope I cleaned that up in an appropriate way) I have to agree as well. I have a relative working at a local dealership, so we take all our cars there. We've never asked for or expected a discount because he was there, we took our cars there because he was there. If he's not there though, as soon as we pull in we get attitude. My mom always believes in being nice, because they don't know how to handle that. A yelling, acting out person they see regularly and they know how to just tune out. When you're saccharine sweet to them however, they don't know how to react. She's very good at shaming them. We're looking for a new regular shop but are under no illusions that we'll get good service anywhere past about the first two visits. It's harder to find a good mechanic than it is a doctor.

You're actually dead on! I happened to be holding her when her eyes opened and my vet says she's imprinted on me kinda like a duckling. She only needs to be near me and she starts purring. If I could only find a woman that likes me half as much...

Cool project! You've nailed the look. I of course want to do this one...

That's an option??

I think my kitty is broken. She used to love lying around in model boxes. Then one day during the move, she took a boot to the head. Purely by accident I assure you. However, ever since then...well...see for yourself! This is how she prefers to sleep now.

LOVE IT! Bobby is one of my favorite old timers. You've captured the look of this car nicely. Well done! B)

X2! To me that word, truncated or in it's entirety is just as offensive as some words that they've tried to ban!

If I may quote Peter Griffin- "While I may not agree with what you say sir, I'll defend to the death your right to say it." As far as I'm concerned the only passable thing Rogen has done so far was voicing "Paul". Every character he plays is the same tired old thing. Loveable chubby stoner, learns a lesson in the end. There, I just summed up his entire portfolio.

How dare you mention Seth Rogen in connection with Batman! I thought you were making a list of funny people? Seth Rogen is a total JOKE, but he's FAR from funny!
-
Did someone say AMC? I saw this cool little machine today. I thought you might like them.

On nother website, one of those stupid, asinine, cryptic thread titles. Why can't people put a sensible title to their threads. "TTSB" tells me nothing!

Tell Richie we're all behind him. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

The secret is out!...I'm BATMAN!
