IceMan Collections Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 (edited) This one is all done. Some trouble at the end but all in all, I'm happy with it. Here is the progress thread in case you missed it: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=97433&st=0&p=1335113 Edited March 18, 2015 by iceman-555
satterwhite78 Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 I think you're on Route 66! Lol! That is sharp!
Harry P. Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Gasp! Are those Chevy hubcaps on the trailer???!!!
mike 51 Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 (edited) What went wrong up front? Is that fixable? It looks like the radiator might be too low and it is out of square, perhaps if you could safely remove it the body might align better? Kind of shame to have that show up after final assembly when you had done all that great work. Edited March 19, 2015 by mike 51
slusher Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Great looking and cool model. Real nice work on the wood...
charlie8575 Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Nice job overall. I'll check the WIP, I'm sure the bumper issue is addressed there. Considering the problems this one gave you, you made a most credible recovery. Charlie Larkin
1930fordpickup Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Looks good. I can see this at a camp ground already.
DeeCee Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Its a sweet build Iceman, some great details put into this one.
IceMan Collections Posted March 19, 2015 Author Posted March 19, 2015 Thanks everyone. I'm satisfied with the results. Did give me a bit of trouble. Not perfect by a long shot but happy to move it to my shelf instead of the trash. Brayden - the camper is a Jimmy flinstone piece.
BubbaJoe Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 great looking combo..love the teardrop ..super job
Dominik Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 very nice! Like it - but can't you fix the frontbumper?
Danno Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 If you're satisfied with the front end, there's not much else that can be said.
