realgone58 Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Just finished restoring my Imperial cvt. Was a glue bomb from ebay, I used some Modelhaus parts, and the engine a big block Mopar from my parts bin, built to replicate a 413. The color is to simulate factory Roman Red metallic, with white and maroon interior. If I were to buy a brand new car in 1964, this is exactly what I would have ordered. Of course I'd have had to make a pretty good living too....
misterNNL Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Very nice replica stock model Al.The shear size of the real cars is still amazing when we actually see one.
vintagercr Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Al, that turned out very nice! I have a couple of glue bombs. One that has been converted to the pick up.
Harry P. Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 I love seeing oddball models like this that we don't see all the time. Beautiful work!
Ramfins59 Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 That's a gorgeous looking car Alan. It's great fun to restore an old glue bomb.
wayne swayze Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Lovely big red boat! You did a nice job on that. Nice hub-caps also.
59-Desoto Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Can't say enough, , you had my attention when I seen Imperial ... MAGNIFENT !!!!!!!!!
StevenGuthmiller Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Very nice Alan! If I had a dollar for every one of these '60s Imperials that I saw destroyed in a demolition derby......But hey, they almost always won! Steve
peekay Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 I really love this one - beautifully done throughout and everything looks just right!
