Lowlife ! ! Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Wow I must admit im not a big fan of the early corvettes but I love what you've done with this. Subtle mods but what a huge difference, the new chassis / interior setup is spot-on and will really make this car ! Keep it up, im looking forward to more ! .... .... Lowlife ! !

exesivefire Posted April 18, 2015 Author Posted April 18, 2015 Thanks everyone, currently figuring out the layout of everything.. Think I'm gonna have to hack that cage a bit more to get seats in there
rustybill1960 Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 This looks killer Andy! I liks the body choice Hope it works out for You on the layout This is one knock out project Thank You for sharing Later Russ
exesivefire Posted April 19, 2015 Author Posted April 19, 2015 so went about making a little more room in the chassis this morning. Its a little tight in there. Started by cutting out the door bars I also took a bit out of the top of the frame rail top bar pushed out a bit, and the door bars reconstructed. might not seem like much, but the cage fits closer to the body now and I gained a good 3/16-1/4 inch width in there now.
afx Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 might not seem like much, but the cage fits closer to the body now and I gained a good 3/16-1/4 inch width in there now. 1/4" works out to 6 scale inches so well worth the effort. Nice work.
exesivefire Posted April 23, 2015 Author Posted April 23, 2015 So Pat helped me find some old Pegasus tires I have been looking for, I decided to celebrate by making a new set of wheels. Pegasus tire, aluminum rings and a cut down C1 models resin center Super pumped with how these turned out, I have an idea what to do with those other wheels and tires.. 2
bobthehobbyguy Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Wheels and tires look great. This project is shaping up nicely.
