crazyjim Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 I took the Tasca Ford Thunderbolt kit and made it a street machine. Painted with HOK red II pearl. The hood and headlights were cutout and reall screen installed.
Johnt671 Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Nice job. I see a Viet Nam Service ribbon as the front plate.
crazyjim Posted April 6, 2015 Author Posted April 6, 2015 Thank you John. Yes on the ribbon. USMC Vietnam 1968-70.
cobraman Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Another nice build. I like what you did with the top.
tubbs Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 yes, the vinyl top looks great. did you use masking tape? nice job.thank you for your service.
vintagedragcrazy Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 That is one good looking ford you got there. And thank you for your service. Vince
crazyjim Posted April 6, 2015 Author Posted April 6, 2015 Thank you guys. Appreciate it. I masked the car and then shot spray adhesive on the roof, let it dry, and shot with flat black. I forgot to put in some seam strips. I scratched the the original paint on the roff and didn't feel like stripping the whole car.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Nice looking model, for sure. One has to have courage to drive the big cam, dual quad side oiler 427 on the street. Not a grocery getter.
slusher Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Absolutely beautiful Jim. Very clean and excellent work...
6bblbird Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 That would be an awesome 1:1 street car! Vinyl top looks great as does the rest of the car! WF
tbill Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 another beauty, now line that up with the sox/martin car and lets have a drag race
crazyjim Posted April 8, 2015 Author Posted April 8, 2015 Thanks Tom. The Ford is ready to go with cheater slicks out back.
