Dave Darby Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 I went to visit the Modelhaus website tonight, and found the following message: The Modelhaus Website is down temporarily. While our site was originally down for routine maintenance, that has changed. We have experienced the tragic death of our youngest child, our 32 year old son Steven. Please be patient with us as we take time to mourn and somehow put our lives back together. We trust God, but sometimes do not understand. My condolences and prayers go out to Don and Carol Holthaus. http://herald-review.com/lifestyles/announcements/obituaries/holthaus-steven-andrew/article_4d422ee1-100c-55bf-8fa4-4f539d8d10b3.html

FASTBACK340 Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Me & Amy were shocked to hear the news yesterday morning…… Tragic. They had set up a make-shift "Sympathy Card" from the table cover for their reserved table. Pens were provided and the public was encouraged to write a short salutation to the family. The table covering was to be sent to the Holthaus family from the attendees of NNL East `15. Nice touch Tri-State guys.

This is something I would never wish om anyone, especially people like them. Charlie Larkin

Guest Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 My sincere condolences to Don and Carol. No parent should have to mourn the loss of their child. There's no worse tragedy for a parent. I pray for them to be given the strength to get through this toughest of times. Time heals all wounds. But, the scars will remain for a lifetime.
