This Caddy had 2 things going against it, 1st it was molded in that ugly Johan green and 2nd the original builder painted it Rustoleum satin black. It took 1 week of soaking in Purple Power to get all the paint off, but still the plastic was stained from the Rustoleum. I primed it Tamiya's primer grey and then 4 coats of Tamiya's silver mica and finished the paint off with 4 coats of Testors wet look clear. The interior was done in Tamiya's semi-gloss black and I tinted the glass with 3 very light coats of Tamiya's clear blue.

Let me know what you think.

Al

I have developed a great respect for glue bomb builders. They seem to require a whole lot more attention than something outta tha box in my experience. What a job you've done with this!!!! Great job Al! Great job! icon_shoutout.GIF

Beautiful save Al! I've got one of these to do as well. I hope that it turns out as nice as yours did!
