Jantrix Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Yep, '49 was a year of change for Ford. And a great change. The '49 Ford is a classic. However it was mostly due to them following the design cues from companies like Studebaker who had already nixed the full fenders on passenger cars in '47. Those are two fantastic looking models. Well done sir.
'70 Grande Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Beautiful builds! Your paint and detail-work are outstanding! I guess I have never seen a '48 and '49 Ford parked next to each other; I was a little surprised that the '48 appears overall slightly smaller in size than the '49. I have always thought those full-fendered cars "appeared" larger in size than the more modern and "slimmer-appearing" cars of the late-1940's and early-1950's.
charlie8575 Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Nice to see a '49 in something besides red or black. That cream-yellow is pretty. Charlie Larkin
moparfarmer Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Fantastic build on both cars, especially the multipiece 48 Ford..Paint and execution on both is immaculate..You DO build some very nice stuff..I've seen your other posts on earlier Fords..EXCELLENT work Lovefordgalaxie..I would have called you by name but your handle is easier..Very well done...
Dominik Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Very nice Fords! Both are so beautiful...excellent. I always like your Background from your Pictures.
