Porscheman Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 It's been a busy week, finishing off both Moebius new Ford Pickup's and this one. My dad had a 4 door Ranch Wagon, so I did it in colors like his & my dad didn't have bumper guard on the back bumper, just like the kit. I painted it Testors Wimbledon White with Tamiya's Military Grey Green. The interior was painted Grey Green and I used the kits supplied decals for the seat inserts. The windows were tinted with Tamiya Clear Blue. I added white walls from AMT's parts pack. I really enjoyed this oneand hope there are more longroofs coming down the pike. Let me know what you think, Thank you for looking. Al
cobraman Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Al, you are my hero ! You work quick and have great results. You really should get some sleep once in awhile. : )
wayne swayze Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Very nice! Looking forward to picking one of these up soon.
Phildaupho Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Great to see a build of a kit I have not even seen yet. I really like the color combination. I can see how rear bumper guards might interfere with the tailgate.
modelercarl Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Very, very nice!! For a kit with 740 posts over 38 pages this looks great.
Porscheman Posted July 2, 2015 Author Posted July 2, 2015 (edited) Thank you Ray, Wayne Phil and Carl & Carl. I could believe all the fight over this kit. It's a great kit and my dad never had rear bumper guards on any of his wagons in the 50"s. Al Edited July 2, 2015 by Porscheman

Speedfreak Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Excellent job Al, looks great. I had a 1:1 red/white in the early 70's.
Silver Foxx Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Great to see one built already , you have done a top job on this , well done .
thatz4u Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Al, looks real, I saw a lot of these when I was a kid. They were great cars, Al
Porscheman Posted July 3, 2015 Author Posted July 3, 2015 (edited) Thank you everyone. This is a real nice kit. People should build one before they judge it. Al Edited July 3, 2015 by Porscheman
peekay Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 (edited) Beautiful! Just ordered mine yesterday and it's great to see already that it can look sooooo good! Edit: forgot to say - those AMT tyres look just right and seem to be a perfect fit. Edited July 3, 2015 by peekay
Porscheman Posted July 3, 2015 Author Posted July 3, 2015 But it has flaws Al, how can it be a real nice kit? Lol. Lee, I always like the challenge of the flawed kit. BTW, what were they again? Thank you Brian and Peter. The AMT W/W tires fit like a glove. Al Al
mike 51 Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Tower Hobbies is listing the wagon as "discontinued" ! Surely this is a mistake?
