Jeepxj Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 You know it's amazing.Back when these cars were coming outta Detroit,I hated them, and thought they were all garbage. Now that I'm in my late 40s,I absolutely love these weird AMC,oddball cars. The Gremlin, the Pacer, the Hornet, etc. There is definitely a following for these cool rides. And I've been seeing them more,& more at car sows.Anyway, you did a great job on yours.Im really digging that interior. Thanks for sharing your pix.
spencer1984 Posted August 1, 2015 Author Posted August 1, 2015 Thanks! I've also come to appreciate the quirkiness of the AMC design, and have a Javelin and a Gremlin planned for future builds. i just cheated and got the diecast JB collection I would have done the same, except I'm keeping my collection to 1/24~1/25 as much as possible so I can do silly things like this...
Danno Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Superb. Great technique for the seat decals.

They were built in Kenosha Wisconsin. I had the 76 version of that car with the 304 V8 and it could beat the snot out of small block Camaros, Firebirds, 318 cid Challengers and 302 Mustangs. Was a beast at autocross too. Now you have to make Scaramanga's flying Matador. Edited September 15, 2015 by lordairgtar
charlie8575 Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Very nice. Those seats are remarkable. Charlie Larkin
