Lovefordgalaxie Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 (edited) Here we go again, another Ford Starliner. The second I build, only this time its for a friend that owns the 1:1. Like he doesn't want the real car to appear, I used a different licence plate on the model for picture taking. The model is all box stock. 1960 Ford Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr 1960 Ford Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr 1960 Ford Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr 1960 Ford Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr 1960 Ford Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr 1960 Ford Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr 1960 Ford Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr 1960 Ford Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr 1960 Ford Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr 1960 Ford Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr A few more: 1960 Ford Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr 1960 Ford Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr 1960 Ford Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr 1960 Ford Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr 1960 Ford Starliner by Túlio Lazzaroni, on Flickr Edited July 28, 2015 by Lovefordgalaxie 1

Just a great Job ? XJ6? Would like to ask what kit did you Build that from ? This one was built from the AMT kit, the 2008 "deluxe" edition, that comes with two complete engines, plus tampo printed white line tires, Wide Ovals, lakes pipes, mags, and some more cool features. This is the box:
John Goschke Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Another in your succession of consistently outstanding builds! It's always a pleasure seeing your work.Looking at this new-tool kit built up makes me wonder if the time I've invested in two unfinished original '60 Ford annual kit-based builds was worth it!

bbowser Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Outstanding paint and foil work, as usual from your bench. Great model!
cobraman Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Fantastic ! You sure know you way around Fords. : )
Guest Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 No fair posting pics of a real car! Seriously, that is beautiful!
72 Charger Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Stunning Tulio as usual . Did your roof have any depressions of the roof lining showing through to the outside ?
donb Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 That first pic looked like the real deal! Extraordinary build.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted July 28, 2015 Author Posted July 28, 2015 Stunning Tulio as usual . Did your roof have any depressions of the roof lining showing through to the outside ?Nope.BUT I have one of those pre built kits, the AMT Masterpiece, that comes fully built, that has the waves of the headliner showing trough the roof. I guess this is a random issue, as the other Starliner kit I built didn't have the problem also. As a curiosity, the "masterpiece" Starliner also have another problem, big sink areas near the fins, on both sides of the trunk.
Mr Stock Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 This is just stunning Tulio, as always from you.I followed your build of this one on youtube too, great work mate.
72 Charger Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Yes Tulio I have sink marks on the fins also. Lots of filling and sanding
Dominik Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Another in your succession of consistently outstanding builds! It's always a pleasure seeing your work.x2. Beautiful
JTalmage Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Gorgeous. I need to get a few of these kits. I love the Starliner
