TimJ Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 (edited) My younger brother originally built this Monogram F-100 back around 1980. Since then it had been in storage, during which time it lost a few parts so I decided it was ripe for restoration. The paint was stripped from the body, which was then sanded down and repainted. The bed was painted a sandy colour, given a coat of clear orange and trimmed with BMF. I was pleased with how it turned out. Let's hope it lasts another 35 years. Edited August 3, 2015 by TimJ

Cpt Tuttle Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Nice! When I grew up, my father had a black 56 F100 for a while, that he was restoring but sold it before he finished it, so this one brings back some memories, like when I was scared for life that i should drop my shoes through the rust hole in the floorboard, lol.
mustang1989 Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 (edited) Nice work Tim! I love these ol' F-100's as well as have a great appreciation for re-builds and your resto turned out great! Edited August 29, 2015 by mustang1989
