Merit Resto 1 (D type Jag)

Hi all,

 

I picked this up along with aAston DB3S, Alfa 158 and 2 toy Lotus 15's (see previous post) about  2 years ago.  I have just got around to rebuilding it with headlight buckets & vacformed headlight covers.  I used a set of resin D type wheels from the Linberg D

Love it. I have a couple of these old Merit kits, and have been thinking along the same lines. Nice job on the resto. The Lindberg wheels make a big improvement too.

Dave, your D Type looks great! I've been hunting for one on ebay and won this evening. Looking forward to comparing it with the Lindberg version I have, and my Revell XKSS.
