Ramfins59 Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 This beast started out as an old glue bomb that I picked up at a show about 2 years ago. It was unpainted but it had holes for the mirrors, antennas and the trunk mounted spare tire bump which was missing, and there were glue blobs everywhere. I puttied in the holes and sanded them smooth along with all the glue blobs. The paint is Duplicolor Bright Aqua Metallic with BMF trim. The grille, bumpers and windshield are Modelhaus replacements, and the convertible boot, taillights and mirror are from my parts box. This is far from my best model but I am just very happy to have finally finished it after having it take up space on my workbench since the end of last year.http://images49.fotki.com/v606/photos/9/3018309/13823717/IMPERIALMODELFINISHED11024x731-vi.jpghttp://images20.fotki.com/v355/photos/9/3018309/13823717/IMPERIALMODELFINISHED21024x746-vi.jpghttp://images49.fotki.com/v569/photos/9/3018309/13823717/IMPERIALMODELFINISHED31024x763-vi.jpgAll comments, good or bad, are welcomed. Ramfins59 Posted September 23, 2015 Author Posted September 23, 2015 Thank you all very much for your kind comments. It doesn't look all that great in person, but I guess we are all our own worst critics.
StevenGuthmiller Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Looks nice Rich! This is one of those kits that I never thought about pursuing. Looks almost exactly like the '59. I have a pretty hard time getting excited about building too many "similar" kits. I always need something different to pique my interest. Nice job though! Steve
bbowser Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Great save, nice color. Keep them coming Rich!
72 Charger Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Really nice Rich . Yes we are our own worst critics. Give your self some credit that's stunning as usual
ChrisBcritter Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 (edited) Great save on this one, Richard! If you like, you can type [ img ] before and [ /img ] after each of your photo links and they should show up on this page. (Without the spaces I had to add before it would make sense...) Edited September 24, 2015 by ChrisBcritter

StevenGuthmiller Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 If I do that will I be using up my "allotted" space for pictures? Is there a problem for viewers having to click on my Fotki Link??? You can just copy & paste Richard. Some people won't bother to open links. Steve
