realgone58 Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Wondering if anyone is offering, or currently doing a '58 conversion for this kit?
oldcarfan Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Now that I think about it someone used to offer a 58 wagon of some sort. Either Modelhaus or Jimmy Flintstone.
Tom Geiger Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Now that I think about it someone used to offer a 58 wagon of some sort. Either Modelhaus or Jimmy Flintstone.I was hoping that Revell would! A '58 is a natural follow up to the two '57s!
charlie8575 Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 I was hoping that Revell would! A '58 is a natural follow up to the two '57s!Agreed, but I'm betting we'll either get a '57 Ranchero or Country Squire first. Charlie Larkin
Sledsel Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 I was hoping that Revell would! A '58 is a natural follow up to the two '57s!fixed first please!!!! 58 Ford ANYTHING I would have a bunch of them. Just tired of hacking AMT's HAHAHAHAHAHA
gtx6970 Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Me toome three,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I like the 58 more than the 57
Tom Geiger Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 I think a '58 would be a sure fire winner! It hasn't been done since, um... 1958?! And a '58 2 door sedan has never been done. Or swerve around the obvious of a '57 Ranchero and go right to a '58 Ranchero to surprise the crowd.
mod3l Lover Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 (edited) A '58 Ford of almost any type would bea welcome addition to the modeling world. My dream find is AMT/SMP '58 Fordannual kit hardtop or convert.! David S. Edited November 13, 2015 by mod3l Lover

David S.Agreed,But a clean builder 58 is TOUGH to come up with,,,,, in either form. I looked for nearly a year before I got one,,,,and it still cost me over $50 with a heavily customized body Luckily our resident annuals builder guru ( aka StevenGuthmiller ) gave me a body to fix the one I got

Bob Ellis Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 I grafted a '58 annual kit nose on a Revell Ranchero. A bit of work. Didn't Modelhaus make '58 wagon?
High octane Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Revell WILL be coming out with a '57 Ford Ranchero, trust me!
khier Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Didn't Modelhaus make '58 wagon? They make country sedan body and bumpers. The rest is yours.
