1tim1 Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Finished this kit last night. Body is painted with Dupli-Color paints, added a wired distributor and threw on the old school supercharger that comes in the kit. Swapped the kit wheels for Pegasus Hellas/Hollis 19" on front and 23" on back. This is my second two-tone paint job and I think it turned out pretty good. Didn't really document this build like I should have, just wanted to build it. Comments and questions welcome.
jeffs396 Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 WOW! That looks SWEEEEET!!! Nice color combo and clean assembly.
Dominik Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 ohaaaa....good looking Colors and wheels matching perfect!
Bryan Whitson Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Awesome build!!! For me, silver is a hard color to get right...looks like you've got it!
ZTony8 Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 That's a very nice looking model!I like that blue/silver two tone.
Sixties Sam Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Nice! Great color scheme, and the wheels are cool.Sam
jefropas Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 I really like the color choices too! Nice build. Jeff
rmvw guy Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Looks good! I like your choices. I just found out today about this new release and Hobby Lobby is carrying it! I went to get one and found the new Revell Model A instead. I was looking for that also. Maybe next time, seems they were sold out.
peekay Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 23" wheels are a few sizes too big for my taste but I like everything else about the model. Nice and clean, excellent detailing, looks great.
maltsr Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 That's a great build Tim. I am currently doing one very similar to this, but mine uses Pegasus Torque Thrust wheels. My headlights are the same as yours, I wonder if anyone else has noticed what you did?
Harry P. Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 I agree with Pete on the wheels, but regardless of that, a super clean, sharp looking model. Very nice.
vintagercr Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Beautiful build........excellent colour choice
slammedi'am Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Came out sharp man!! I knew you could do it.
