tiking Posted October 19, 2015 Author Posted October 19, 2015 Much appreciated guys. Glad you guys love the results. Thanks for dropping in.
1930fordpickup Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 This looks great. If you wanted to make it look fuller just put some black cardboard rings the same size as the tires in the bottom it would also help make it look full to the top.
Danno Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Gnarly, gnasty, but great! Exceptional weathering and realism!
tiking Posted November 2, 2015 Author Posted November 2, 2015 Thanks gents. Glad ya'll like the build.
Modelbuilder Mark Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I like that a lot, and the little Michelin Man adds a nice extra touch!
gino Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 excellent work ! the weathering is spectacular !
tiking Posted January 2, 2016 Author Posted January 2, 2016 I finally got the tires into the container. 163 tires to be exact. Thanks to all my fellow modellers from around the world who donated most of the tires. I also added the twist locks to the underside at all four corners of the container to hold them in place. I made some few changes of the placement of the wheels and did some minor painting and slight weathering. I lso moved the tractor slightely forward away from the trailer to show more of the fifth wheel. So I hope you all approve of the final look as I am calling this done. ----------------------------
