Modlbldr Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 What an outstanding build. Great mix of parts topped off with a beautiful paint job. Congratulations on finishing it. BTW- most of my builds are that way. I have been combing through mine to determine which ones need to come back out for finishing.Later-
Phildaupho Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 Superb model. Excellent custom. Very well done in all respects,.
Skip Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Nice paint, reminds me of Larry Watson's style. Is that engine using the Fisher Crossflow head, the AMT '51 Bel Aire had one in it the last time I built one.
Kustommerc Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 Very slick Kustom Ferby, glad to see it done !
DumpyDan Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 That is cool man, love the scoops in the fenders behind the wheels. WOW!
Geno Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 A masterpiece, that's all that needs to be said.
Dominik Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 HOLY SNAP!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is pure beauty, all those custom mods were definitely worth digging it back out mate. And the engine looks superb, topped of with a sweet paint job, absolute beautiful build... it is...amazing
Ferbz Posted November 16, 2015 Author Posted November 16, 2015 Nice paint, reminds me of Larry Watson's style. Is that engine using the Fisher Crossflow head, the AMT '51 Bel Aire had one in it the last time I built one. Thanks! Larry Watson certainly influences my paintwork as you might see in my other builds. The engine in it's entirety is from the Galaxie 48 Chevy kit which I believe had all the high performance 'Wayne' stuff in it. I scratchbuilt the triple carb intake to accommodate the 3 sidedraft carbs.
victorylane Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Hi Ferby,Now, that is nicely done!I really like the profile. I like the coves at each wheel. I like the paint and scallops...I like it all.Did I say I really like the profile?Nice build Ferby, thanks for posting it.Brian
