Nice builds, especially the dioramas. With dioramas, the more people look at them, the more detail they are able to find. I would like to build one, but I simply don't have the room. You are right Nick...Dios add another dimension to most builds,but... they can be a problem when it comes to storing them. Especially if they are large scale scenes. I've had them stacked in closets and in dresser drawers and even under my bed at one time. The smaller bases like an 8" x 10" that will hold one model and they don't have to be super detailed to look good and they will generally fit in the display case fairly well (assuming you have one).
