Just finished this '65 Pontiac Bonneville. Factory color Iris Mist metallic. I converted to a bench seat interior, corrected the tail lights, and used correct promo wheel covers and tires.

I was going to do my 60 Bonneville in Iris Mist, but decided against it when I realized how long I'd have to put off the project waiting for paint to arrive. Did you use acrylic lacquer or acrylic enamel?

It was an old can of Model Master lacquer with five coats of DuPont 7480S clear.

Looks great! For those of you considering a '65 Bonneville build, the Bonneville script in the grille should be on the hood. The change might be more hassle than it's worth, but at least the info is out there...I like the Iris mist!
