dartman Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Late arrival I bought for myself.. Anyone want to guess what's wrong with this box? And it should say 429 sedan........?.....lol
Dann Tier Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Oh man, don't tell me that. Did you get another set?YOU BET I DID!! -AND GOT TO KEEP THE MESSED-UP ONE AS WELL!!!!!!
Phirewriter Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 (edited) Well not kits exactly, my wife gave me a gift certificate for our LHS and my daughter sent me a Lego Millennium Falcon and X- Wing plus a gift card for our local theater to see Star Wars (again!!) I guess Lego counts as a kit (kinda?) Was always into Lego and have my daughter and hopefully my yet to be born grandchild (another Christmas surprise) hooked too. promoman Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 I got no kits. However I got a very nice 1:18 32 Ford hotrot diecast. Also a nice 65 Mercury promo.
DanR Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 YOU BET I DID!! -AND GOT TO KEEP THE MESSED-UP ONE AS WELL!!!!!!Did you have any problems with the second set?
ToyLvr Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 No plastic from Santa, but my daughter gave me a gift card for evilBay. Some good stuff should arrive at my door in a few days....
cmfowler Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 No kits but was given money to order the K's Workshop 2015 YZR-M1 transkit I wanted. Should be here in a few weeks. My In-laws gave me a giftcard to my LHS so that was nice.
68shortfleet Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 (edited) Here is a couple of kits I had never seen before. Wife got me these, no idea what scale they are, but the one is a Landcruiser so I am happy. They are about two inches long. Daughter got me an airbrush too. Also got a gift certificate for the LHS from my in-laws. Edited December 28, 2015 by 68shortfleet
Dann Tier Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Did you have any problems with the second set?one episode froze for a second, but the rest was fine. the extras were awesome!! Adam West is a really neat guy!
Phirewriter Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 (edited) Are these similar in size to Tamiya's mini 4WD series? Battery powered or pullback? At 2" I'm guessing pullback, I've never seen these before. They're really neat looking. Can't go wrong with a Landcruiser and a FJ plus an airbrush, nice!!! Edited December 28, 2015 by Phirewriter
ZTony8 Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 (edited) No kits but I did get some spending loot. Now the dilemma.Do I buy myself some clothes-I could use some shirts and maybe some new boots-or do I add to the circa 1300 kit stash?Hmmmm. That Moebius '61 Pontiac is sure tempting.I forgot to add that my daughter also got me a sub for Model Cars magazine.I knew I raised her right! BMXNBULLDOG Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 My better half got me 2 of the new 29 roadster kits, 3 new drill bit sets and a new Grex airbrush. She won't see me for awhile, I'll be in the workshop!! Merry Christmas!!
High octane Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 NO kits for me which is very good as my "stash" is really too big and I'll probably still be "thinnin' the herd" a bit more this comin' year. Hopefully I'll be able to count the number of new/old kits I buy in 2016 on one hand. That's the plan.
SfanGoch Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Hopefully I'll be able to count the number of new/old kits I buy in 2016 on one hand. That's the plan. That's what I keep saying. Unfortunately, it seems like I have thirteen fingers on each hand.

I have never had a Tamiya mini to compare too. I this picture you can see that it is about 2.25" long. In the little bag on the left you may be able to see the drive axle with gears to make it 4wd, also in the bag are contacts for a battery. But there is not an electric motor in the kit, but a part number to get the right one maybe.
unclescott58 Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Late arrival I bought for myself.. Anyone want to guess what's wrong with this box? This box mistake has been brought up before. It's a pretty nice kit. And will a correct 427 in the box.
