bbowser Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Very cool! That floatplane dio is awesome. Love the '48 Chevy too.
Harry P. Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Wow! What a wide variety of subject matter! All are super cool, but like Bruce, I think the plane dio is my favorite. Nice work, man!
cobraman Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Nice work on everything but that Pinto speaks to me. Is that a full model or one of your slot car bodies ?
Ramfins59 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Nice variety of subjects Derrick, and good job on all of them.
NYNS Franky Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Great work! Love the '57 and the Cessna (that's what it looks like to me, but please correct me if I am wrong)
Greg Pugh Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Great stuff but the '57 is what wags my tail!
Modelbuilder Mark Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Looks like a good year with lots of variety, nice
Sixx Posted January 3, 2016 Author Posted January 3, 2016 Thanks guys! The Pinto & Cuda were slot car bodies, the 57 Chevy has a driver figure in it, and the plane is 1/72nd scale and it is a Cessna! I sculpted the ground work & the water...that whole scene was loaded with a bunch of "first" for me...water, landscape, chipped & weathered airplane...geez! :-)
Sixx Posted January 3, 2016 Author Posted January 3, 2016 The Bone Shaker Willys I saw drag racing in Byron Illinois at the Meltdown Drags. I had to hand paint the skeleton & name coz of course, no decals to match
bobthehobbyguy Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Very nice work. Great diversity of subject matter. Super clean. Float plane is cool.
