Nothing special, other than the wiring, and some plumbing, it's pretty much OOB. These are great kits, if I were trapped on a desert island and could only eat one plastic model the rest of my life...

I guess I spoke out of school!:D I'm sure a lot of folks will agree(notice how I toned down my rhetoric) that this kit goes together really well, no surprises, crisp edges, etc, etc. I've built several of these, if you are going to build just one hot rod, Steve, make it this one. Just ask Nick!

Looking good Steve. I too really like the Revell Willys kit. I have only built one(modern tool) kit so far, but have at least four more in the stash of kits. I do want to try my hand at and old(opening door) kit again sometime though.

I also checked Wikipedia, Dave, and I'm still confused about how to handle the "s" at the end - Wikipedia made it seem like it should be soft, as in "is" your mama callin' you? Or is the "s" hard, as in the photo above, and the word "s"nake?

I remember driving north on interstate 75 through Detroit and passing the huge original factory brick smoke stack with the WILLYS painted on it in white letters.

I must have about 10 of these in my stash but I haven't built one yet.

I sure do like what you have done with yours though.

Nice job Steve.
