Luc Janssens Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 (edited) Just found this on the Belkits FB page. Also note Belkits decided (starting with both Ford MK1 kits) to collaborate with Cartograf, the leading decal manufacturer from Italy. This to bring the quality of our decals to a higher level. Photo's and info courtesy from Belkits Belgium. Edited January 15, 2016 by Luc Janssens

I just read that the Revell 250 SWB will again NOT be re-issued (fortunately I have 3 original Italeri SWB's left)
dublin boy Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Soon...I think they're waiting on the other decals to be approved, so we can build both versions.
Luc Janssens Posted January 15, 2016 Author Posted January 15, 2016 (edited) do you know when this will be available ?I mailed them a month or so ago, and their rep said that it will be a Q1 release. Also if one looks at their FB page you'll. will see that the kit is currently in production (China) Edited January 15, 2016 by Luc Janssens
PowerPlant Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 (edited) There's been talk about this Escort for some time now... Shame Belkits only covers motorsport subjects, it would definitely be nice to have this as a road car as well, but then again, I guess converting one to street spec wouldn't be too difficult... dublin boy Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 And you can make an RS 2000 with an amt Pinto 2 litre engine.
stavanzer Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Wow, that sure looks neat! I may have to hunt one up.
oldcarfan Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 I have the old ESCI version of this car. I'll have to look into getting one of these too!
lysleder Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 I have the old ESCI version of this car. I'll have to look into getting one of these too! No you don't The old Esci is a mk.2. Belkits is the earlier mk.1.
afx Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 I have the old ESCI version of this car. I'll have to look into getting one of these too!
dublin boy Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 They are both 1/24th scale, there's really not much difference between the Mk1 and Mk2 mechanically, so you can have an (incorrect...) BDA in your MK1 if it can be kit bashed without too much trouble using the kits JC has shown above.Trouble is, they're hard to get hold of now and you'd need a Tamiya Lotus Europa for a correct engine which would need a rwd gearbox..I'll just build it out of box when I eventually get one. Can't wait!!
Atmobil Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Looks very good, this one is on my list for sure
niteowl7710 Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 (edited) I was thinking of getting one of each of the two variations and then deciding which livery/color scheme I like better - as I have no particular attachment to the drivers/races/rally in general - and building that one in race trim, and then doing the other as an "after racing life" street car. Mr Stock Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 These are now out, I have my Roger Clark kit on the way !, I've been looking forward to these for a long time.
Roncla Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 My Rodger Clark kit arrived last week. Its a very impressive kit and looks to me to be as good as anything I've seen from Tamiya who I always use as the benchmark.
