Well, after nearly 2 years sitting on the bench or in a box. I dug it out and finished it. This started out to be a replica of my brothers actual car. with 2 exceptions. My brothers car doesn't have the 340 badging in the stripe and his is a bench seat. Otherwise this is it . His Birthday is in about 6 weeks so this is another one I give away.

Its painted Testors Plum Crazy straight out of the rattle can , Sem black for the interior . Chassis was left bare primer. The non 340 car Grille is a resin item I bought off of Ebay ( dont remember the seller )

Wheels, hubcaps and  air cleaner  are from my parts box. I decided to not get carried away with detailing as once he has it it'll never be out of the case. . Plus this was a test run for me to see who how the kit goes together and ck for issues .

Comments good or bad more than welcome, I already know I need to find the master cylinder and upper rad hose.

Thanks for looking

Edit, Added a couple of front end pictures to show the non 340 grille..

Looks good.  I think I would spend some time coloring the side markers and I think a set of license plate decals would be a good addition.  I would like to see another shot of the grill.  Great job.

Thanks all. I have to pick up some paint for the sidemarkers while I am out today. ( mine was dried up )

Weather is not coperating today so getting  decent pics is tough .If by chance the sun comes out I will get a better picture of the grille .

My plan is once his car is up and driving,,,I will make a copy of his license plates and add them then. And he hasnt decided on what kind of outside mirror yet on his car, so I will add one then . With any luck his will be on the street later this year .

Really, Really nice looking car. I'm sure that your Brother will be very happy as I know that I would be . Also, it would be great if you can get another photo of the Grill. Thanks for posting this absolutely beautiful car.

I made license plates for a build of a pickup I owned years ago. I would stand about 25 feet behind the truck ( 1/25th )  and take the picture. I had the pictures printed and then cut out the plates. I'm sure with the technology of today there is a simpler way to do this now.

You might consider installing the rear quarter windows. They don't roll down, but flip out. One of the econo-features of that car.

The car is beautiful with that paint,
