Edsel-Dan
They are at least the Same three kits Lindberg offered WAY BACK.If the Tires are 2pc, and the body sections Screw together, then YESThey ARE the Lindberg Tooling too!!!!I am Betting they ARE the Old Lindberg tooling!!!!Would be Odd to have some one Re-tool American Heavy Equipment like thatwhen they have similar Brands over there!Even IF Cat sells over there too.I would Bet the Cat rigs would be Much More expensive then more local manufatcures!!! RancheroSteve
The Estafette wasn't imported to the U.S., but a few snuck in through Canada - this one, with '50 Buick taillights, was burned up for an episode of Adam-12 (images from imcdb):That's Windward Avenue in Venice, California!http://www.kcet.org/socal/departures/fieldguides/venice/architecturehistory/windward-avenue.html

Fabrux
It appears that on 5 February 2016 Heller entered a redressement judiciare, a French legal status that roughly corresponds to receivership. Redressement judiciare = en situation de défaut de trésorerie ne permettant plus de faire face aux engagements mais disposant d'un savoir-faire et de perspectives permettant d'envisager la proposition d'un plan de poursuite d’activité. (source Altares FR)Adminstration = This takes place after a company, its directors or one of more of its creditors have asked the courts to step in. The court will appoint administrators whose powers are very broad and replace the existing directors. Administration also protects a company from an legal action. The administrator's primary objective is to keep the company operating as a going concern to achieve the best possible returns for creditors before going into liquidation. niteowl7710
Receivership isn't something that should come a surprise to a business, so it seems somewhat odd to attend a major trade show and then "collapse" a week later. Unless perhaps the new kits aren't selling well due to their lack of distribution network and the interest (or lack thereof) from the buyers/distributors at Nuremberg was the final step into the legal filing. aurfalien
I was really looking foreward to the Ferguson tractor. Oh well. BenWell, we don't know there fate just yet. They seem too substantial to simply close down.PS A great story but none the less an example. Chrysler declared chap 11 in the 80's where Lee Iacocca then brought em back from death. I'm hoping some biz man/entity finds inspiration to do the same here.
