The Pickup is from the "Hot Trucks" series from 1999 and it shows the kit on. Such a bad fit, I had not yet.

Black with steel rims & holes bumpers.

Beautiful job of a classic, plus great photos! Congrats on your build and looking good with your Chevys. What's under the hood?

Cheers Misha

hello together, thank you for your very positive feedback that motivates.

The engine I can not present, because I have the hood firmly bonded.
As I said the kit is not the accurate.

Jan, I'm curious; what makes you say the engine isn't accurate in the kit? It's probably the best representation of the last version of the flathead Ford V8 in a current kit. Only the AMT '49 Mercury has a comparable example.

That is a beautiful '53 , Jan !   That old AMT 1953 F-100 is one of my all-time favourite kits ; the building options are excellent ( the stock L-Head V8 is really nice and is accurate ; how-ever , the optional DeSoto Firedome is what I truly like ! ).

Considering that this kit has its origins in c.1963 tooling , it really stands up to the quality of today's releases . Certainly it is not with-out its "faults" ; it needs some massaging here and there , and its interior is , shall we say , "minimal" , but boy does it build up to an impressive representation . Yours being a fine example !
