Hey folks! Got a little color on my 69 today. Only 2 coats so far, maybe 2 more, then some clear. I still have to mask off the sides and shoot the side trim Wimbledon white. Now onto the interior and chassis detailing!

Hey guys! Been away from the bench for a bit. Got a stupid cold that kicked my butt Lol. Got a few things done last night. Got some accent painting done on the valve covers & intake cover. I also redid the firewall, made it completely smooth. Waiting on some Tamiya clear and some other things to get here, then I will be back on it good.

That is looking great, I like the contrast between the two colors and the wheels make it look just right.

IMHO, one of the flaws in this kit are the out of scale mirrors, they just look a bit oversize to me

Hey everyone. Well it's been a while since I've worked on the F100. I wanted to change a few things after I painted the body. So I got the new 70 F100 kit, and removed the small side mouldings from the body. I also painted it the original color I wanted on it, Boxwood Green. The color on it before was Tamiya olive drab. So here's how it looks now. I like it much better with no trim. Plus, I like this color much better. All comments welcome!0509162207a.thumb.jpg.15c56ebb68ee0d76d3

Hey everyone. Been picking away at the F100. I finally got some clear on the new body. Wet sanded and polished. Working on the interior now. Chassis is next for paint and detailing, thinking of a graphite gray color for the frame.

Thanks for the compliments everyone! I got the interior done finally. Tamiya light sand and Wimbledon white trim. I couldn't find a shifter I liked, so I made one out of a Mustang boot, a paperclip, and the shifter ball from a Revell 67 Camaro. I hate how the windshield goes in, however I didn't need glue, which is nice. But when I installed it, the paint on the right A pillar popped off. So I had to touch that up.  Chassis will be next, then that's it. It will be painted a graphite gray with silver and black suspension peices.
