shoopdog Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 (edited) Built this Z to replicate the 1:1 my wife and I had about 25 years ago. Painted Model Master Nassau blue lacquer which is pretty close match to our color. Just figured out this posting pics deal ! Edited March 9, 2016 by shoopdog Added to text
Danno Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Very, very nice, Keith! I, too, had a '79 Z28. Loved it.
Fanof69 Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Got this kit in my stash and on my to do list. I really like your build. Looks great!!
shoopdog Posted March 9, 2016 Author Posted March 9, 2016 Love it! Are those Keith Marks decals? JeffNo, they are the decals that come with the kit. Two color options brown or the blue.Do you have the Street Burner 2n1 kit? If so you have the decals included. Thanks everyone for your kind comments.
Canso65 Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Man, I still love these cars. Nice job on this Paul.I think the color is very close to what they were back in the day.
THarrison351 Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Looks really good. Just an observation if you can fix it. The tail light lens are reversed.

I had cut lights off the sprue for final painting and soon realized that was mistake.Luckily I used Aleene's Tacky Glue on them so should not be any problem switching them around.

Kenny B Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Keith, Nicely done. I had a 81 Z/28 350 4 speed. I miss that car.One more thing the rear tail lights should be outlined in black between the different colored lenses.Just kidding with you, looks real good. They sure didn't detail much under the hood.
shoopdog Posted March 13, 2016 Author Posted March 13, 2016 Exactly the reason I didn't post any engine pics. At least a decal for the air cleaner would have been nice.
