Yep, just been waiting on the official word( although I think these may leaked as well),  some of it has been known, but Ive been holding off on posting anything because Aoshima went after a few guys that posted  a leaked photo of the Pagani Hyuara

There is more coming, not so much in the Super Car world, but with some other already tooled kits.

Can we believe the July 2016 release date on one of those photos for the Huracan, it doesn't look too far along?

Its hard to say really,  We are still waiting for some kits that were supposed to be out in Dec of last year, so while that may be a targeted date, I would not expect to see it then.

There's some really interesting stuff in there, especially the different 1/24 scale figures for diorama displays. I was asking my wife how long she thought it would take some enterprising modeler to remove the wrench from the hands of the one lying on her back working under the car in a slinky dress, and putting her in the car instead. But it better have lay down seats I don't know of one with a wide enough back seat for that pose.

The Pagani and Huracan will be big hits, but why can't I have a McLaren F1 short tail frown.gif Are they in cahoots with the people over at Fujimi?

The problem would be convincing the guys at Aoshima that ANOTHER Short Tail would be viable at this point. The "window" has kind of closed for the moment as Fujimi has saturated the market with 8 bazillion boxings of their race car.

An Aoshima one would of course be vastly better as seen by comparing the two company's Long Tail kits, but Aoshima announced their's first and then Fujimi slammed theirs to market first, much like the tale of the two Aventador kits.

While better it's also not like Beemax's upcoming BMW M3 that will unseat a 30+ year old awful Fujimi kit.

Maybe in a few years after the Fujimi kits have faded away they can approach the subject again, but these three projects represent the next 18 months of development within the Super Car Series.

Bingo.

Like it or not (I do not like it), but Fujimi ruined the short tail and perhaps the entire plastic F1 market for the time being. I endured the pain building 4 Fujimi short tail kits. Even if Aoshima offered their own short tail, not sure I'd get it at this point. I had no qualms selling the two Fujimi long tails recently, I don't really even like long tail F1's.

They're iconic cars, they're not going away or down in popularity, and prices of real ones are getting silly insane. If Aoshima has done any development on the F1 short tail, they should just sit on it for a few years, keep the development on the down low and then wow the world with an F1 LM and a few race cars before Fujimi can hurriedly reissue their turds.

This weekend at the Beijing Hobby Expo in the Aoshima display was a placard showing a "Winter 2016" release date for modification of the Aventador into LP-750 Superveloce trim.

I think we all knew it was coming at some point.

Takes time to refine an accurate tool. Not just drop an ehh turd, like revell's usual customers are used to.

Well, Aoshima kits are first class.  I bought a Sesto Elemento for some reason, I guess just to see how there kits look and feel.  Man top notch kit!!!

Unsure if I will ever build it as Lambos aren't my thing but I even got the detail parts kit for it.

Man I haven't heard a peep outta the planet Earth regarding the Zonda Pagani.

Is it in fact coming out this year?

They gotta get the Huracan out first. There's a toy show in Malaysia (I believe) this weekend and it looks like they'll be showing the runners from some of the upcoming kits. I've seen the bodies and other parts trees for the Diablo GT and GTR, so I bet the Pagani will be in there too.

I wish AOSHIMA would do these cute little critters in 1/24 scale.  They have a whole line of forklifts and similar vehicles, all in 1/32 scale. (Some have also appeared in FUJIMI boxes.)

These are incredibly complete, well-detailed and complex kits. Some include bins full of ice and Future Sushi - big sea-bass and other fish! Everything that works on the real thing, like lift/extension parts, works on the completed model (if you're careful with the glue).

I'm finishing up a weathered version of the Nichiyu Platter-15 stand-lift truck right now - the one in the bottom left of the photo. Will try to put some photos in "All The Rest."

That Nichiyu kit even has an "engine." A working cover shows the 2 hydraulic reservoirs, motor, etc.

The kit also includes 4 plastic JPR pallets; rubber tube for the hydraulic lines; a figure with a choice of 2 heads, helmeted or not (though he looks sort of goofy).  And one of the best touches - 4 lead weights hidden in the (removable) battery box, so the completed forklift doesn't tip over when loaded.
