Happy Birthday late Rich. and many more..

I will be 75 years young on Wednesday.  I have slowed down with the model building, have about 8 WIP and have finished 2 so far this year but still enjoy the hobby tremendously

Happy birthday coming Carl...

I started building in the early to mid 70s at 6 or 7 years old....there were great kits out back then...miss them.

Happy birthday folks...:) ...hope you all have many many more and with plastic.

I'll be 65 in August. I started in the 50's when my uncle gave me four or five WWII fighters, Spitfire. Mustang, Messerschmitt, Zero and I can't think of the other one. Next came the 1939/40 Ford kit and hundreds following that.A truck period in the 70's. Classic cars in the latter part. I built pretty well throughout my life with a few dry spells. The last 2000-2014 was the longest. I was on the road a lot and I built models in my hotel room to stay out of the bars .

Put me down for 69.:o I remember , back in the day, my Dad would build us some of those wonderful Monogram aircraft kits. Watching him build and being an impatient young lad, somewhere along there I started build my own self. First car kits I remember building, Monogram Long John Dragster and seeing the first AMT '32's on the shelf.

Hit the big 70 last November. Figure I still have a good 30 years left to build models (at least).:)Richard

Good luck with that! B)

Happy Birthday to those celebrating!!

I'm with ya Greg... once I got my formerly young hands on the Long John Dragster, and the AMT '32 I was hooked for life.

That's right. IIRC, "three score and ten" is considered a full pull per the Owner's Manual. B)

August 1st is 70 ... this one is hitting me hard, but hasn't slowed me down ... nothing can slow my natural glue pace

40, didn't build too much from about 2000-06 because life really got in the way. When everything else fell apart, reading and building became my refuge.
