I'm looking forward to doing something with it. We went back today for some stocking stuffers and I almost got this one. I assume its the old Revell kit? Nope its actually an old AMT (truly a MPC kit. The original edition was in 1964 with the tudor sedan, the body was emedietly replaced with the woody and truck in the next release. Its not a bad kit, but just be warned, the frame is one with the fenders, but thats not a big set back at all. I was at my LHS recently and they had this kit for $40 (I dont buy kits from them because there so darn expensive). Heres a rebuilder I scored of the original issue of this kit with the sedan body (I dont think the Halibrand wheels are in it anymore though). 2
Mark Posted Sunday at 07:29 PM Posted Sunday at 07:29 PM The Model A is a good kit, in spite of the fenders/frame being one unit. I saw a couple of those Friday and left without one, but went back and snagged one today. The sedan body still drops right on, as does resin copies and derivatives. Besides having a couple of sedan kit bodies, I remembered buying a Jimmy Flintstone sedan delivery body that is based on the sedan. The delivery has shorter doors besides the more obvious differences. Sure enough, it too fits right on the woody fender/frame.
ewetwo Posted Sunday at 08:28 PM Posted Sunday at 08:28 PM My Ollies had a bunch of kits in again. Or they were removed from the isle shelves they were originally in. To an end cap. Might explain why they all disappeared before. All Monograms at this point. No Bronco.
slusher Posted Monday at 04:02 PM Posted Monday at 04:02 PM Mine has not had much I would like the Monogram Camaro but they only have a few Trans Ams a few t/32 trainers no broncos"…
62SY4 Posted Tuesday at 12:57 AM Posted Tuesday at 12:57 AM (edited) Hit the last Ollies within an hour drive. Typical 1/24 Monogram kits. Also the Revell 67 Corvette Coupe with the St.Louis Arch in the background, based on the price tag location I presume HL close outs. All were priced at $15.99 A case of Revell Ford Raptor snappers, at $12.99 each There were two Revell AC/DC Tour Trucks, 1/32 Kenworth with trailer. These were priced at $39.99 Edited Tuesday at 12:59 AM by 62SY4 Forgot raptors 3
Dave Van Posted Tuesday at 03:18 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:18 PM 12/8/25 Lewisburg found this! Random plaçes around store 2
Sledsel Posted Wednesday at 06:36 PM Posted Wednesday at 06:36 PM (edited) FYI....... Ontario Ohio if anyone's interested. Also, Mansfield has a larger and more diverse selection including the 29 roadster Ford courier and a couple others I haven't seen in other stores. I left my phone in the car so I don't have any pictures Edited Wednesday at 08:45 PM by Sledsel 1
Dave Van Posted Wednesday at 07:07 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:07 PM I hope to find the Ivo and Astro kits.....
rattle can man Posted Wednesday at 08:18 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:18 PM I wish mine would get something other than the Mongram stuff.

bobss396 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I hit the one in Selden NY on route 25 the other day. Got the AWB Chevelle and Bronco kits, $19.99 & $15.99.. not really cheap. Loads of Ivo kits. '57 Vettes, those lousy Camaro and Corvette kits. Tons of big rig stuff. 1
Mark Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I checked one store today. No AWB Chevelles but they did have the MPC Monte Carlo dirt track car, and a few Revell '29 Ford roadsters (yes, the newer one with two frames and those nice finned brake drums). The AMT '29 woody/pickup kits that were there last week are gone, the first of this bunch to disappear. 1
Robberbaron Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Stopped at the Merrillville, IN store tonight. Zero Round 2 stuff. They did get a restock of the Monogram-branded stuff. About a half dozen each of the Mono '57 Bel Air, the Lambo Diablo, Dodge Viper, and '64 Mustang convertible. And about a million Monogram '57 Corvettes...
