echoxrayniner Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Of all I've done, I think I like the all gloss black Mustang LX or metallic blue Dart HEMI of mine the most. 1 1
THarrison351 Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 (edited) I never got a good outdoor picture of this due to the weather, but I was very pleased with the results. Edited August 9, 2016 by THarrison351

Lowlife ! ! Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 (edited) Wow some amazing paint jobs......... its hit and miss for me painting, but this is still probably my best. Various layers of nail varnish which changes colour, and then clear with flake. No polishing just Tamiya clear to finish Edited August 11, 2016 by Lowlife ! ! 1
High octane Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 I did this one back in the early 70's with AMT Lacquer spray cans..................................................
JollySipper Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Wow, LowLife ! ! You put a lot of work into that lowrider!..... Can I ask how you chromed the suspension pieces? I'm planning a lowrider build and would like to chrome the frame....
gtx6970 Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Might not be my #1, but its probably one of the best black paint jobs I've ever done
Lowlife ! ! Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 (edited) Thanks TJ, yes I spent two and a half years on this Monte ! All chrome is either various kit chrome pieces, alclad, chrome foil or the flat pieces are flat chrome cardboard ! The kit comes with the front suspension already shiny, the chassis was alclad with foil blended in. Edited August 11, 2016 by Lowlife ! !
