mchook Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 I had this sitting around & it was nice & shiny but it looked like a toy. So I gave a redo, just in the other direction!
Badluck 13 Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Very nice "rust effects" , very convincing look to it not over done and different stages of rust areas, favorite work is in the right rear quarter.
iamsuperdan Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Looks great! However, I think I'm more curious in the tow deck you have in the background!
GTJUNIOR Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Very convincing weathering. You wouldn't have any "before " pictures by any chance? Would be interesting to see what you started with.
Shardik Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Fantastic weathering and perfect placement of the "cancer" spots. And, for once, the mounting holes for the missing trim look in scale (so few get this right). the only thing that's not convincing is the price on the windshield; That's way too low for having the 409 still under the hood.
Mike C Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 That is way cool! Great display. Will you take $1100 for the car?
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 I like it!! Great job on the weathering!! Very convincing and not over done.
Hubert Rollins Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 That's one nice weathering job. Very, very convincing!!
Rider Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 What a great bit of work, the weathering is spot on. This really looks like something I have driven by on I40 in the south west.
MeatMan Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Fantastic work Jay! It looks like the real deal. I love the whole dio.
