I find the figure a little terrifying tho – is this the pre painted figure by Revell?ly When I posted my build of this kit back in January, I said the same thing. (didn't do mine as a pace car, just a Bahama blue 442) Now, I find any model people to be a little creepy.. they just can't look real enough to my eyes.. although I've seen people post diorama builds with mechanics or something that can make a model look amazing if you can't really see the faces of the figures. BUT... this particular figure of one of racing's most beautiful women in history is... how do I say it.... particularly off-putting. It's pre-painted in the box... maybe someone who does occasionally use figures with their builds could do this up better than the pre-painted version, but it frightened me.
