Chillyb1 Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Here's a neat little car for you. I love this car and the kit. I built this as a vintage racing enthusiast's car from the Tamiya kit mostly box-stock but with some added detail parts and some photoetch. mikemodeler Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Nice job on that Alfa! I worked at a dealer in the early 80's and drove many different Alfa Romeo's and that one was one of the more exciting ones to drive.
Crazy Ed Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Well done Curtis., all the way down to wiring all 8 spark Plugs.
Badluck 13 Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Super SUPER nice, great detail and in the right background setting it could pass for real.
sjordan2 Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 I had a '66 GT Sprint Veloce, and this excellent build brings back nice memories.
Chillyb1 Posted June 29, 2016 Author Posted June 29, 2016 Thanks, everybody, for the comments. It really is a fantastic kit of a fantastic car. Those of you who have been lucky enough to drive, own, or just be around them, I envy you your experience. I'd love to have one of these to blast around in as my daily driver. Crazy Ed, good eye for detail!
Harry P. Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Beautifully done. I especially like the realistic subtle weathering on the chassis.

Crazy Ed, good eye for detail! Well, "daily" is not a good description of 60s Alfas as a driver. You share joint custody with your mechanic.
1959scudetto Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Well-built Bertone coupé - let's see more Alfas !!!
Mr Stock Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 Great job Curtis those little Alfas were very nice cars and they did very well in saloon car racing in their day. Ive not managed to pick one of these kits up yet, but its definetly one Im looking for.
oldcarfan Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Really nice! When I was stationed in Pensacola, Fl, one of the base doctors had one of these in maroon that he drove everyday. It is on my Lottery list should I ever win big..
