SfanGoch Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Noel Neill, the first actress to portray "Superman" heroine Lois Lane onscreen, died Sunday in her Tucson home.
Ramfins59 Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Wow... I remember watching those Superman TV shows when I was a kid. RIP Noel...
Snake45 Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 So how many "Supermen" did she outlive? I can think of at least two.
SfanGoch Posted July 5, 2016 Author Posted July 5, 2016 Three actors appearing on film and/or television: Kirk Alyn, George Reeves and Christopher Reeves.
unclescott58 Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Three actors appearing on film and/or television: Kirk Alyn, George Reeves and Christopher Reeves. Also Bud Collyer.
SfanGoch Posted July 5, 2016 Author Posted July 5, 2016 I didn't include him, and others, who were radio actors, models for Fleischer Studios or appeared as Superman at the 1940 World's Fair.
sjordan2 Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 I just saw one of the last smiling pictures of her at a very advanced aged; if you knew who she was, you'd say she aged well.
Harry P. Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Not too shabby for 90+...http://www.media2.hw-static.com/wp-content/uploads/3551443.jpg
blunc Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Saw her at an Arizona area Comicon in 2008, real nice lady.
crazyjim Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 George Reeves was the ONLY superman, just like Sean Connery is the only Bond, James Bond, Clayton Moore & Jay Silverheels the Lone Ranger & Tonto.
Harry P. Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 George Reeves was the ONLY superman... I agree. Just as Adam West is Batman. Period. BTW... on a recent episode of Jay Leno's Garage, Jay and Adam West went through a fast-food drive through... in the Batmobile! It was pretty cool...
Snake45 Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Just as Adam West is Batman. Period. Oh, I dunno. I kinda dug Michael Keaton. His "I'm Batman" line is just classic.
slusher Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Three actors appearing on film and/or television: Kirk Alyn, George Reeves and Christopher Reeves.I remember George Reeves Superman reruns when I was a kid. R.I.P. Noel..
SfanGoch Posted July 6, 2016 Author Posted July 6, 2016 "The Adventures of Superman" airs on MeTV Saturdays at 6 P.M. EST/5 CST followed by Batman.

Jay Leno has a lot of cars and even has full time employees taking care of them. Leno doesn't live in Illinois though, so toys like old cars are easier for him to afford.
