feretzrus Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Inspired by the Photo Feature in Collectible Automobile February 2003. It's strange, but the Blackberry interior went with the Olive Yellow exterior at the time. Started with the 80's Gunze Sangyo kit with the usual rubber-pieces-that-should-have-been-plastic issue. The seats, door panels, and interior trim were all molded/cast in resin then rattle can painted in a color that matched perfectly. The fender skirts are plastic sheet, and I think they really enhance the lines of this car. The only other fussy item in this kit is the windshield, I think it has more parts then the real thing! Thanks for looking!
Harry P. Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 So what's the actual color of the model? Like the first two photos, or like the last one?
Foxer Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 That's pretty cool. I never knew they came in such outlandish colors at the time!
GlueTube Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 A favorite kit of mine. Job well done sir! REgardsBrian Kroon
feretzrus Posted August 9, 2016 Author Posted August 9, 2016 The color is of the first 2 pictures, the last one used a flash which blew out the colors a bit....
bbowser Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 I keep coming back to this one. My uncle had a TR-3 for a time, great little car. I've never seen one with skirts but I like it, well done!
Lovefordgalaxie Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 That thing reminds me why I hate European cars. It looks like a cute little frog. The model is great, tough.
