Ajay Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Hi all Those of you with long memories may remember that I'm building a custom Mk11 Jag & I built this one box stock (apart from the whitewalls) as a comparison piece for when I eventually get round to finishing the custom one. Thanks for looking Andy
Harry P. Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 More than 100 views and no responses? Odd. This is a beautifully executed model. Nice work, Andy.
Helix Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Nice clean build of a British Classic, well done Andy I love to get one of these kits and do an old school UK Police Car

sjordan2 Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Nice job. Like the Tamiya Morgan, this one has great wire wheels.
GlueTube Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 How did you find placing the belt line moldings? RegardsBrian Kroon
Ace-Garageguy Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 Beautiful model of one of the truly great cars.
bbowser Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 I just did one of these a few months ago, great kit. Yours looks outstanding.
Intmd8r Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Nice - you nailed the metal colors of the engine. The only two examples I've ever seen in person had a balck engine bay with polished valve overs and air cleaner. Not sure if that was OEM acurate of not....
Dann Tier Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Love this kit, and you did a beautiful job on it!!
Ajay Posted September 2, 2016 Author Posted September 2, 2016 (edited) How did you find placing the belt line moldings? RegardsBrian Kroon Hi BrianThe metal transfers caused me a few headaches as I had an original issue of the kit and I think that over time the adhesive had dried out slightly - in the end I had to resort to using gs hypo glue in some places. Having said that I reckon that if you have a newer issue the trim should adhere okAndyps/ Thanks for the comments guys, much appreciated. Edited September 2, 2016 by Ajay
Chillyb1 Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Nice job on a beautiful model. I love the whitewall look. What is it about this kit that makes us want to paint it this color? Here's mine:
