martinfan5 Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 (edited) I think I have figured out what I am going to do with this one, playing around with configurator at Lamborghini website, I came up with this, I wont be using this exact shade of blue, I have some Lambo Blue Hera that I used on the Roadster, so the current idea is to use that baring I do have enough. So with that. And will be using the P/E set Edited September 3, 2016 by martinfan5
Exotics_Builder Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 I think that would look great. Waiting to order the International version. Have you figured out how to address the front door/fender "creases"?
martinfan5 Posted September 3, 2016 Author Posted September 3, 2016 I think that would look great. Waiting to order the International version. Have you figured out how to address the front door/fender "creases"? I have Gerry, and that is to completely ignore it , on the serious note, the issues dont really bother me all that much, I can live with it, and I do feel that I would probably make it look worse, so its best to leave that to the pros.
martinfan5 Posted September 3, 2016 Author Posted September 3, 2016 Getting started, the engine sans the valve covers, trying to decided the correct color, seeing photos of the engine with black and engine color valve colors After some Alclad And the chassis
martinfan5 Posted September 3, 2016 Author Posted September 3, 2016 And the engine in what I am going to say completed phase, I am sure I could of made it look a little bit better, but lets be honest, only the very top is going to be seen.
MrObsessive Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 What a wild looking car! Lookin' good so far Jonathan!Exotics are not my forte, but I'll be following along as this beast looks VERY interesting!

martinfan5 Posted September 12, 2016 Author Posted September 12, 2016 (edited) Looks great. Do younreckon aoshima has taken over from tamiya in the car department? BenI think it some ways they are just as good, and in some ways no, both have good and bad. Edited September 12, 2016 by martinfan5
Funkychiken Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Hot build, and it's going together really well. I know how you feel about all the pain of adding extra detail - only to find it's completely hidden in the finished model.
Randy D Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Hi Martin, The chassis and motor look great. The paint work on the under side of the chassis really makes it pop Having watched your builds the last few years I'm convinced I need to try an Aoshima kit. Randy
martinfan5 Posted September 18, 2016 Author Posted September 18, 2016 Thank you Randy, compared to your building, I am building toys, you should absolutely get a Aoshima kit to build.
martinfan5 Posted September 18, 2016 Author Posted September 18, 2016 Got some clear on itThe P/E grills for the bumper are in place And the interior, as you can see, its not 100% complete , I do feel I could of done a better job on detail painting the center console. Here you can see the P/E grills , and the aluminum exhaust tips, and the P/E Lmabo badge
