tbill Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 anyone interested in doing this again? no prizes or anything, but maybe a forum-wide vote for favorites? kind of a bragging rights thing? could use the same format of monthly updates, and we will just go from january first of next year to december 31st, full year, and build whatever you want, snappers included. any thoughts?
Badluck 13 Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 I like the idea...especially the non-limitations of what you can use/build....I would be in for this one .
gotnitro? Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 Count me in !!perfect reason to build that Transtar eagle
guitarsam326 Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 What about something we just recently started but no real progress lol?
tbill Posted November 22, 2016 Author Posted November 22, 2016 why not? i guess my thoughts were to get everyone fired up for build season [also called winter in some areas, lol], keep it fun, and keep everyone building, and maybe keep things a bit more lively thru the summer months. maybe even come spring we can start a snapper only build off, something cheap and quick for everyone to do. keep the ideas coming
cowboy rich Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 (edited) I'd be game gets me going on my 1/16th again it is barely started except a few parts.this fresh enough to play along? Edited November 22, 2016 by cowboy rich added picture

gatorincebu Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 I am all for it ! A fun build off with required monthly updates and a one year time frame.Does it have to be a on road truck??? ;-) Be Well Gator
Bennyg Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 I'm in. Mine will either be an Emhar Bedford tanker or an AMT Super Boss. I'm still grafting away on my other projects. I bit off more than I could chew with the last one. Ben
Superpeterbilt Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 Im in. Can I pick up where I left off with my BRBO rig? Lol. Ill figure out something new to start on.
olsbooks Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 Sure....Lugnut is eager to make a reappearance....
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 (edited) I'm game. Who's going to moderate this one, are you going to Tom? Edited November 23, 2016 by DRIPTROIT 71
anarximis Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 how about a good weathered build not a clean showroom look
tbill Posted November 23, 2016 Author Posted November 23, 2016 i guess the only rules would be 1} monthly updates, and 2} has to be a rig. on road, off road, clean, dirty, oob, complete resin, whatever, go nuts and have fun when we get closer to january, i will start another topic on this and see if i can get it pinned, then we will see where it goes this time around
k100 Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 Sounds like fun count me in, I might actually get a model finished ...lol
guitarsam326 Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 Sounds good, i barely started the Acar, so im in!
angelo7 Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 I would suggest calling it a different name. B.R.B.O. has a bad taste for many of us that got cheated. I would definitely support your idea Tom.
Mike77 Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 I'd be interested in giving this a go again. I agree that a name change would be the way to go. Even though I had to drop out before the bottom fell out I still felt bad for the guys who were in it for the long run.

angelo7 Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 (edited) How about "Truck-a-thon 2017? Edited November 24, 2016 by angelo7
Canso65 Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 I'd be in on doing this again. I had fun working on my rig.Of course I need to get my modelling mojo back and finish up my Diamond Reo.
Superpeterbilt Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 Big rig is such a cliched term to begin with. Model truck build off would have been better. At the end of the day, what its called doesnt really matter. Lets build some trucks.
