Fast Floyd 2 Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 (edited) Here's my 1969 Fairlane Cobra Sports Roof, woth a "R"-code 428 SCJ (Ram-Air) Edited November 29, 2016 by Fast Floyd 2
espo Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 Turned out great. Considering this is kind of a primitive kit compared to what we have to work with now, it's good to see that something this nice can still be built out of it.
donb Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 I really like this build. The color and the steel wheels, Dog Dish caps and poly tires look great.
Fast Floyd 2 Posted November 29, 2016 Author Posted November 29, 2016 Thanks Everyone, this one is one of my Favorites.

Yes, these kits Out of the Box leave a lot to be desired!! But with a little kit Bashing and a few parts from the parts box, you can make a great looking build out of it. The Steel Wheels & Dog dishes are from a Ultra Rare AMT kit T-332-200 Cobra HT. The Correct "R" Code air filter housing is from a Revell 68 Mustang GT. The 428 SCJ aluminum valve covers, are resin copies of the Revell 69 Shelby GT 500- 428 Valve covers. just a few little things I changed on it, to make it a little more Correct. Thank you, I'm glad you like it. Edited November 29, 2016 by Fast Floyd 2 spelling
Lunajammer Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 Those wheels really give it character. That's how I'd build it.
