I see the posts of the builds you all finished this year has begun it's my time to list what I haven't finished, but were really close! :o  It's been slow lately with my only daughter getting married on the beach in Provincetown, Cape Cod MA. :D

I have a bunch that are close to finishing and there's still a month left in 2016. I can't decide which I should try to complete in that month, so I'm putting it to a vote.

I tried to add a Poll but can only have 5 choices, so let me know which you'd want to see completed.

Here's the contenders ... some are actually NOT a car I owned!

'32 Ford not-chopped, sectioned, channeled and wider  Needs a repaint and mostly assembly after that

'56 VW Kombi   Another repaint and assembly

'92 Crown Victoria  already repainted and needing trim black and chrome

Subaru Sambar  in assembly! all painted!

'49 Mercury Woody, jacked and distressed custom  maybe this one needs too much to complete, but is in the paint phase

'67 Triumph TR4A  This is the one I'd like the finish most, but is doubtful it can be done

I don't think this site has enough bandwidth for me to post pics of everything I worked ON or worked AT this year and failed to finish. (That's why I almost never start a Workbench thread.)

hahahah  .. same here!  I did try to limit it to what might be possible  :D

... and, there's no requirement to finish a Workbench post!

Yeah, I know, but I've found that starting a Workbench thread is like putting a curse on one of my projects, consigning it to the Shelf of Doom for years, if not forever.

Works better for me to finish something, and then post a couple interesting WIP pics in the "Done! BOOYAH!" thread. B)

I'd like to see the 32 finished, or at least more of it. It looks pretty interesting. Then again, the CV could probably be finished this weekend.... I've been following that one since you started it. It's my favorite of your builds.

Here's the WIP for the 32

The TR4A looks interesting, but if you rush it you might regret it later. The '32, are you sure you don't want to shop the top?. The "Subby" . Both of these look like they could be finished in a short time. The Kombi is interesting, and I really look forward to the Merc. Woody, but that would take some time to get it just the way you want. What ever you do keep us posted.

I agree! I would love to see that TR finished, but it deserves to have whatever time it needs.

You are right. And, the Subie is the closest to the end .. I should get that one up on the shelf.

Put me down for the Subaroo too. I like the color. What's the paint?

Paint is Subaru Willow Green Opal Mica matching my daughters Outback that she uses in her dog-care business. I did this as a Love Us and Leave Us Phantom. :D

IMO ...I'd save the Triumph for a time with no deadline, and finish up the Subaru...!

Sambar looks like an interesting project.....   all are cool projects... good luck with whatever you choose.

Maybe that's my problem.   ;)
