Michael, this is, indeed, the plan for the third cab. A White Road Boss Integral. The front, rear, and roof are just about 12 inches narrower than the cabover. A flat floor, no side side panels below the floor, and a narrowed dash are most of the major differences. The hood gets a ton of attention. It needs to be widened, made taller, and have a wedge added, front to back. Time consuming, but achievable. The good thing is, the fenders look to be very similar, just too wide at the back.

I missed that entirely..lol. I see it now that you pointed it out. Don't remember seeing to many of these in the day. Very cool project there, sounds like a lot more work than even scratch building the cabovers!

Finally got some pictures to post. Have the first Western Star cab roughed in. Haven't even done the first overall sanding. Still need to add the grab handle recesses, sleeper vents, door handle recesses, etc... Added a little graphite to the initial door seems for the contrast in the pics. Also will post the Road Boss 2 Integral pics in a new thread about that build.

Just adding the monthly check in.

I want to thank all for the kind words of encouragement and interest. They are greatly appreciated.

I have made some progress, The White drop rail frame, with the correct cross members, and corrected front springs is together. This weekend, the cab floor / doghouse is being constructed. Took one of the Revell snap 3406 engines and built an aftercooler, removed the molded in starter, and made belt pulleys for individual belts.

Hope to have pictures soon.

Happy modeling.
