Fireball Carbs?

Just received my order from Fireball (Best carbs I have ever seen) Any tips on how to remove them from the casting block?

I did it by using a model miter box. Lay it on it's side and cut as close to the carb as your comfortable with. Then use a sanding stick and draw it evenly across the stick which is laying on a flat surface. Go slow and check your sanding results often so as to get it even as you can.

I was highly impressed with his work. Carbs looks as thou you could hook up a fuel line and start an engine with them.

Hmmm, that sounds good as I'll be usin' one on my current build, and hopefully my order will arrive this week or next. I'm really not in any hurry though.

probably cut as close as possible to get the bulk off , then use a dremel at slow speed to get closer, and finish with a sanding stick.

Make a cut as close to the base of the carb and then sand it down to the base.

I had ordered the first time from Joseph and his cars are incredible . Beside Model Car Garage's Stromberg carbs his carbs are the best 4 Barrel carb is 1/25 scale.

Thanks for the tips. Got my first set off. Love these carbs.Now to figure out the linkage and fuel lines. These will be going on a 426 Hemi  with cross ram.
