misterNNL Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 I personally think all the recent magazine coverage of The Race Of Gentlemen has been very influential has toward the increased popularity of this style. For those interested in seeing more details and outstanding photos of this style I highly recommend picking up the March 2017 issue of Hot Rod Deluxe magazine. It has the best coverage of the Race Of Gentlemen event in Pismo Beach,Ca.and vehicle detail photos you don't normally get in most magazines. The issue is easy to spot on the rack as it has "WET'N'WILD"and a beach racing scene right on the cover.
modelfink Posted February 8, 2017 Author Posted February 8, 2017 I will also add that the Revell 29, 30 & 31 kits and the AMT Mod Rod kits make this type of build very accessible out of the box. I think my next build in this style will use the Revell 29 Pickup running gear and an AMT 25 T model body.
mredjr Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 Great job! What did you use for the wood and how did you age it? Elvin

Mr. Metallic Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 Very convincing wear patterns and look of the interior. I really like the overall look.
Skip Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Nice looking beater, like you'd see someone running around at Bonneville during Speed Week!
